Levano Pro HVAC Solutions is a family company based in Roseville. We repair, replace and maintain air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps and ductwork for homes and small businesses across the Greater Sacramento area, from Roseville and Rocklin to Sacramento, Folsom and Elk Grove.
Most of what we do is repair. The diagnostic is a flat $69, it comes off the bill if you have us do the work, and we tell you before we start what a part costs and whether the system is worth fixing. On systems past fifteen years we show the replacement number next to the repair, without being asked.

An HVAC visit is a trust decision. You cannot see the heat exchanger or read the refrigerant pressures yourself, so you are trusting the person who can. We try to earn that the plain way.

Furnaces here limp along for years because the winter is short, then fail on the first cold snap when every company is booked. We take a carbon monoxide reading at the registers on every furnace visit.

A heat pump heats and cools with one system, and in the Sacramento Valley's mild winters it does so without gas backup. In SMUD territory the rebate for replacing gas heat is large enough to change the decision.
When the furnace and the air conditioner are the same age, which in the 1990s tracts they usually are, one heat pump replacing both is often the sensible answer. We quote it beside the straight replacement.
Where gas still makes sense, for a young air conditioner or a full electrical panel, we say so. A dual fuel setup that keeps the furnace as backup is also an option.
A tune-up keeps a healthy system healthy. It does not fix an undersized return or a system at the end of its life, and we will tell you which one you have.

Once a year for the air conditioner, in spring, and once for the furnace, in fall. Sacramento’s cooling season runs from May into October with weeks over 100 degrees, so the spring visit catches the capacitors and low charge that fail on the hottest day. The fall visit doubles as a carbon monoxide check.
Change the filter every one to three months, or monthly during smoke season. Have the ducts tested for leakage, because typical homes lose 20 to 30 percent of their air there. Set the fan to AUTO rather than ON. If the system is past fifteen years, ask for a heat pump quote beside the replacement; in SMUD territory the rebate is substantial.
For most homes in the region, a heat pump. It heats and cools with one system and handles our mild winters without gas backup. Homes without ducts, common in Land Park, East Sacramento and the older parts of Citrus Heights, usually do better with a ductless system than with new ductwork.
Air conditioners here last twelve to fifteen years, furnaces fifteen to twenty, heat pumps twelve to fifteen. Sacramento summers work cooling equipment harder than the national average, so the low end of those ranges is common on systems that were never maintained.
Some. SMUD pays $3,000 for a variable-stage heat pump or $2,000 for two-stage when it replaces gas heating, plus up to $2,000 toward a panel upgrade. Roseville Electric has its own smaller program. PG&E territory relies on statewide programs when they are funded. The federal 25C tax credit ended for systems installed after December 31, 2025. We confirm the current amounts on every quote.
