HVAC Service in Loomis, CA

Loomis is not a subdivision town, and that changes the work. Between the Loomis Basin, Penryn and the stretch out toward Newcastle you get acreage, older ranch houses, converted barns, custom builds on wells and septic, and long driveways that a lot of companies quietly do not want to drive down. We do. Loomis is fifteen minutes from us, so a call here is not a special trip.

Emergency AC repair in Loomis

This is what most people find us for, and it is worth explaining why it matters more out here. When the AC quits at nine at night in July on a property off Barton Road or King Road, you are not around the corner from a dozen HVAC shops. Response time is the whole service. We answer the phone, and where we can we get out the same day rather than booking you three days later, which is a long time in a house that holds heat. The flat $69 diagnostic applies after hours too, so a late call does not turn into a blank check.

Older homes and additions built over the years

A lot of Loomis houses have grown. A room here, an enclosed porch there, a converted garage that became a bedroom. Each addition is usually tied into whatever duct system already existed, and nobody recalculated anything. The result is a house where two rooms never get comfortable and the system runs constantly trying to make up for it. Adding capacity does not fix that. Fixing the ductwork and the return air usually does, and it costs less. Older properties out here also tend to have longer duct runs through hot attics and crawlspaces, so leaks cost you more than they would in a compact tract home.

Propane, wells and rural realities

Plenty of Loomis properties are not on natural gas. If you are heating with propane, the running cost math is different from a Roseville subdivision, and that changes the answer on what to install. This is where a heat pump often makes the most sense of anywhere we work. Mild winters, no gas line, and you get cooling out of the same equipment. The thing to check first is your electrical service and panel capacity, especially on older rural properties, and we look at that before quoting rather than after.

Dust, oaks and filters

Gravel drives, open land, oak pollen in spring and grass and dust through the dry months. Filters load up faster here than they do in town, and a choked filter is the single most common reason we get called out to a system that “stopped cooling.” If you are on a dirt or gravel drive, plan on checking the filter monthly during summer instead of quarterly. It is the cheapest maintenance there is. Beyond that, a yearly tune-up before the season catches the failures that strand people in August.

What we handle in Loomis

Emergency and standard AC and heating repair on every major brand, system installation and replacement, furnace and heating service, ductwork, and mini-splits for shops, converted spaces and additions where running new duct is not practical.

Areas we cover

The Loomis Basin, Penryn, Newcastle, Horseshoe Bar, the King Road and Barton Road areas, and the properties along Taylor Road, covering 95650 and the surrounding rural addresses. We also work throughout Rocklin, Roseville and Lincoln, so we are in the area daily.
